About Us
Greg Bolt started out working with his father, George Bolt, as a roofing and construction apprentice for over ten years. Greg founded Bolt Roofing in 1969 and over the next 34 years, he built a great reputation with his community for providing high quality roofing services in Rapid City and surrounding areas. As a roofing contractor, Greg did everything from putting reliable roofs on people’s homes to supplying the local lumber yards and the Black Hills area with his tapersawn shakes.

In 2003, Greg retired and passed down the wealth of roofing knowledge to his son Grant. Grant Bolt now carries on the family business and works hard to uphold the reputation that his grandfather and father created over 43 years ago. Providing residential and commercial roofing services in Rapid City and the Black Hills, Grant resides in the Rapid City area with his wife Tarah and son Garet, and he is proud to call the Black Hills his home. |
